Edelman: Big Ideas

Client: AstraZeneca

Title: OurSpace

Ask: Talk to the immunocompromised community about increasing their antibodies to protect against Covid-19 so they can feel safe living their lives again.

Insight: Our generation is all about nostalgia, especially when it comes to the early 2000s. We’ve brought back low-rise jeans, saddle bags, and the Backstreet Boys. So why stop there?

Idea: AstraZeneca is bringing back Myspace, a 2000s favorite, but with a twist. Myspace will relaunch as OurSpace, an IRL experience for people to get together, have fun, and start living their lives again.

Client: KFC

Title: Bottle Service

Ask: Introduce the new KFC sauce line with a romantic twist.

Insight: When you're dancing the night away with a new fling, and the club is about to close, there’s nowhere to go but home.

Idea: KFC transforms into a late-night lounge, decked out with red couches, music, and mood lighting. Join us in the KFC lounge and pop some bottles (of sauce) brought to you by our barTenders.

Client: Butterball

Title: Turkey Heartlines

Ask: Edelman created The Turkey Talklines in 1981, and wants to continue the movement this year. So, how do we get consumers to call the hotline? t

Insight: When it comes to Thanksgiving day, the popular cartoon character Bob Belcher, knows everything about turkey prep and holiday stress.

Idea: Kick off the Butterball Heartlines by having Bob (H. Jon Benjamin) answer the calls. He’ll share some of his favorite ways to prepare a Thanksgiving turkey, and even help you pick out the Perfect Butterball in the grocery store.

Client: Samsung

Title: Net Working

Ask: Tell people about the new initiative to use ghost nets to build parts for Samsung devices.

Insight: There’s no shortage of young, eager people looking to do some good in the world, though they don’t all have the career/financial stability to do so.

Idea: We use volunteering to jumpstart your career instead of putting it on hold. By tapping into top environmentalist influencers, we will launch “Networking,” an internship program that lets you do good, and work toward your future.

Client: Motus

Title: Motus to Mars

Ask: Introduce the world to Motus and highlight the benefits of this machine for construction.

Insight: People are more curious about space than ever.

Idea: Let’s show that Motus truly is the future of construction by offering it up to NASA to aid in the creation of structures necessary for Mars exploration/colonization. We could even create content in which Motus helps with the process/blueprints for future builds, along with a live stream for people to watch.
